The Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ ecosystem offers ICF CCE-accredited certification pathways for coaches, educators, and clinical practitioners working with African teenagers, young adults, families, and communities. Every certification is baNtu-rooted, sovereignty-oriented, and designed for practitioners ready to go deeper.
Every practitioner enters through one of two gateways. The coaching pathway is open entry — no prior certification required. The clinical pathway requires existing SACSSP or HPCSA registration. Both lead to MaGICA™ — the professional home for all Mayine practitioners.
Open to coaches, educators, youth workers, social workers, and experienced facilitators who want to work with teenagers, young adults, and families using an indigenously-grounded methodology.
For SACSSP-registered social workers and HPCSA-registered psychologists and therapists. A standalone clinical programme for registered professionals working with adolescents, families, and communities in African contexts.
All coaching certifications are built on the same Five Pillars framework and the Teencoaching™ Experience Model. CIAT™ is the foundation — every other certification requires it first.
The complete certification for coaching teenagers and pre-teens using an ICF CCE-accredited, baNtu-rooted methodology. Covers the Five Pillars, the Teencoaching™ Experience Model, the Mindset of Academic Excellence™ programme, group and one-on-one coaching delivery, and safeguarding for practitioners working with minors.
Extends CIAT™ into working with young adults (18–25). Covers career identity, the Self-Discovery Adulting Transitionary Programme™ (SDATP™), Indi-Career Design Coaching™, Indi-Performance Coaching™, and the Abundance Reclamation™ framework. Equips coaches to work across career design, transition, and reconstruction contexts.
Extends CIAT™ into coaching parents and caregivers. Covers the Instinct-Based Parenting Coaching Programme™, Yibalikhaya™ (Be the Home — The Reconnection Programme), Parenting Intellectual Growth™, and the full Indigenous Family Systems Formation Coaching™ framework. For practitioners who want to work with the whole family unit.
From open entry through to Regional Principal™ and beyond — the Mayine ecosystem is a structured career pathway, not a single course. Each stage unlocks the next.

The CIAT™ certification can be accessed through three distinct financial arrangements. All three lead to the same certified outcome — the difference is the financial structure and the obligations that accompany each.
Certification is not just a credential. Every certified Mayine coach leaves with a complete, priced practice system — tools, methodology, coaching plans, and a minimum session rate already set. Nothing starts from scratch.
Identity & Cultural Grounding (IC), Family Dynamics (FD), Emotional Intelligence (EI), Self-Leadership (SL), and Intellectual Growth (IG) — the complete developmental framework behind every programme and session delivered under Mayine certification.
A curated library of coaching plans, session frameworks, and programme templates across all age groups and coaching contexts. Licensed Associate members receive ongoing library updates as the methodology evolves. Sessions are never charged below R950.
Certified coaches enter with a defined minimum pricing floor, a complete business model, and modules covering practice management, client packaging, and income planning. The income model is built — coaches implement it, not design it from scratch.
On completing any Mayine certification, every coach chooses one of two pathways. The choice governs how they practise. There is no informal middle ground.
The coach practises independently under their own brand. They retain their certification credential permanently. They do not use Mayine trademarked titles. They are not listed on the Mayine website. No annual fees to Mayine. No supervision obligation through Mayine. Full responsibility for their own practice, quality, and safeguarding.
The coach practises under Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™. They use their certified practitioner title and are listed on the Mayine directory. They belong to MaGICA™ — the professional community with supervision, library access, masterclasses, retreats, and a cross-referral network. Annual trademark licence fee plus membership tier fee apply.
Nomveliso personally leads all Mayine retreats. The retreat experience is the highest-intensity container in the Teencoaching™ model — three days, residential, transformational. Licensed Retreat Facilitators are trained to extend this model regionally under licence.
